COUNTERTOP RESURFACING

If your kitchen countertop has been put through many years of scuffs, burns, scratches or you just want to have a new look for your countertops, then you may want to consider having your kitchen countertops resurfaced. This is becoming an increasingly popular option for homeowners, and is obviously more cost effective than replacing the countertops.

If your existing countertop is made of Formica, and it’s at the end of its useful life, we can bring new life to it by having it resurfaced. When a homeowner has Formica countertops, and is looking to have them updated, the process is fairly straightforward, but best left to professionals. First, the countertop is lighted sanded so that the surface is roughed up, and the material used to resurface it has something to stick to. Once the material of your choice has been applied, it will then need time to cure and/or dry fully. If the look you’re going after is matte, then the process may be complete at this point. If the desired look is more glossy or shiny, then another pass over the surface will be made using a special material and then polished to make it shine.

"Gabe. WOW. I never thought my kitchen could look this good. I debated going to Home Depot and Lowes, but I just felt overwhelmed. Gabe worked with me on color choices and delivered a home run. Could not be happier with the results"

"Having lived through a remodel before, I was dreading the next few months when my wife decided that she wanted to update our kitchen. We decided to repaint the cabinets as the first option.  I'm really glad we went this route. It was fast and no mess at all.  When they were done, it gave the kitchen a whole new look almost overnight.  When my wife walked in and said "WOW" I knew I made the right choice".
