How much money will be save with resurfacing vs. replacing my bathtub?
If you do not want to remodel the entire bathroom, re-glazing a porcelain tub or resurfacing a fiberglass tub is the most cost-effective choice. The cost of a new tub may only be $300, but there will be additional costs with removal of the old tub, replacing caulk, tile and drywall, plus the expense of putting the old tub into a landfill.
